Kohli's batting position

At 4, you need to be very good vs spin. I don't think Kohli is that great vs spin. He is best at no.3 position and hence it is better to stick with him only at that position.

By 3, I understand someone comes at the fall of 1st wicket, for a good team, it is in 8th over at around 40 runs. It's main job is to go through 10-25 overs safely. That's the phase of trouble for Kohli. He should bat close to 25th over irrespective of position.

In ODIs, after 35 overs, Suryakumar can come ahead of Kohli.

Teams don't bowl out their spinners early. Even if Kohli is at 5, they will reserve their main spinner for him. Does not matter in that case.
