NZ vs SL Thursday Bengaluru Weather discussion

There is rain forecasted for Thursday as well in Bengaluru. But rain is ending at 6 pm. So can anyone tell me what is the cut off time to get a game in? Since it is a D/N match, how late can the start be? Can the match be started at say 6 pm liked 30 overs a side for example?

we should be ok.I think max a 1 hour rain delay.

Time alloted to complete one innings = 3.5 Hours Approximate. 

 

Play can be extended by an extra one hour. 

 

Innings break = 30 Minutes 

 

You add all that 3.5 Hours for first innings + 3.5 Hours for Second Innings + 1 Hour Extension + 30 Minutes break = 8.30 Hours of Play time possble.

 

Since match starts at 2 PM, the match time can be extended till 10.30 PM . 

 

 Tume to complete a 20-20 match , approximate 3.30 Hours are needed. ( Two innings of 1 hour 40 minutes each + 10 Minutes break ) . 

 

So late by late , a 20-20 Match will have to start by 7 PM if it has to finish before the 10.30 PM Cut off time..
