There is a lot of noise filled with good content in this thread. 

 

India shouldn't reduce the number of teams in Ranji. That's the only way to get past nepotism but also give enough opportunities in such a populous country. Why not have an IPL like FC tournament in Oct/Nov with fewer teams and just 3-4 venues with good pitches, umpiring, DRS etc.
