Nikhil_cric
The schedule is a joke. Pakistan plays 4.5 months of domestic cricket in a year (including PSL) England play 6 months a year (including NatWest/CC/Hundred) Australia play their entire season for 5 months from end of September to end of Feb (BBL/Marsh Cup/Shield) Then there is BCCI. We don't have a defined domestic season and end up playing 19 months in year with the only a 2 month gap in August and September. Its a terrible, punishing schedule for cricketers with no real off season to rest, recuperate , regain strength and work on their skillsets. It's a particularly horrible schedule for young fast bowlers coming through the system. Link to comment
