3. Hardik Pandya.... yes the much maligned Hardik Pandya.... the same guy who was getting vilified and booed in the IPL. This guy came out on top! Throughout the tournament, he kept providing valuable lower order quick runs and bowled okayish, but then turned into a beast bowler at the end when it really mattered most!

2. Rohit Sharma ... again yet another person who was in hopeless form in the IPL, not even managing to last until the powerplay was over. Came into this tournament with a squad of oldies and managed to win the tournament with an unbeaten record, something he couldn't get done in the World Cup a year ago. Played electric knocks at the top of the order and kept the confidence levels high of the team. Two back-to-back top knocks v/s Aus and Eng will be remembered for a long time.

1. Jasprit Bumrah  I mean what do you say about this guy... how does he do it??!!! Time and time again. Whenever the team needed him! Couldn't have put a foot wrong throughout the tournament. What a turnaround he brought up in the final when nobody really believed it was possible!! Please give him the Khel Ratna award already!!!

Dube actually did ok ...though I have doubts over his footwork

 

Jadeja was disappointing but he gave that balance .
