HE is a long format bowler. But he won't find a place easily unless he wreaks havoc against some top side. Even if Jadeja retires Sundar will take his place. Suthar is all set to have a long career. So whenever two spinners are injured Dube will have his chances and he will have to make it count. Worst thing that can happen is. Someone gets injuredy. They play on a pitch that absolutely offers no help to spinners in thatmatch. His career will be done right there. This is the problem. We have too many players. But too little quality long format matches to test.

But unfortunately the team management and selectors are forcing him to become a limited overs player They are making the same mistake they made with Jaddu and Sundar

Dubey is not all rounder. They haveto understand that. He can stikc around and make runs. Even Tanush Kotian is a feisty tailender who can bat decently with nothing to lose situation. But neither of them are not close to specialist bat. He should be treated as a bowler who can bat a bit.If they look at him like that they won't pick him in LOI side. I won't say he is a bits and piece player. He is a specialist spinner who can bat a bit. They are trying to convert him into a bits and pieces player. That is the where the problem is. Same thing they are doing with Harshit Rana. Instead of letting himfocus on primary strength of his bowling they are trying to convert him into bits and pieces player by promoting.
