prudent_kreeda Posted May 15 Posted May 15 (edited) I think we need to try now few young emerging pacers as there are always chance of injury to preferred pacers . Looking at SA pitches may help pacers bit more than spinners we should zero in on - Any Pacer decently accurate with X factor i.e. express pace with decent death bowling credentials and a good fielder OR a pacer with decent pace , can swing or seam and then can be good at the death , good fielder My vote goes to Prince Yadav -bowls around high 130 to 140 , can seam and swing if there is some help (ball to Virat) , deceived most of batters this IPL with change of pace, consistenty accurate. Change ofpace with same arm speed is the edge he has compared to all other emerging pacers and looks more mature and ready material as a candidate. What TM can do is- play him in T20s and also start give him exposure in some of the one dayers in next 6 -8 months and see how he shapes up. Would like views on his choice and any other equally good candidates. Have left out Harshit Rana due to injury and is already in in the 16 if fit. Edited May 15 by prudent_kreeda
