Madhav Tiwari is a 22-year-old rising Indian fast-bowling all-rounder from Madhya Pradesh

 

 Known for his raw pace and aggressive lower-order batting, he came into the limelight through stellar performances in domestic cricket and the MP T20 League.

 

Madhav has served as vice-captain for the Ujjain Falcons in the Madhya Pradesh Premier League, where he shattered records by scoring heavily and taking key wickets, cementing his status as a future star.

Madhav proudly describes himself as “100 percent bowler and 100 percent batsman.”

 Despite not playing senior domestic cricket for Madhya Pradesh , Tiwari attracted IPL attention through standout performances in the Madhya Pradesh Premier League .

 

Delhi Capitals spotted the raw ingredients — sharp pace, natural seam movement and clean ball-striking ability — and picked him up for Rs 40 lakh ahead of IPL-2025.

Madhav 's rise in cricket was swift. He played for Indore Division’s Under-15 and Under-18 teams, where he impressed everyone with his all-round abilities.

 

As the captain of the Under-18 team, he led from the front, scoring a double century in a crucial match, helping his team lift the trophy.

 

In the 2021-22 season, Madhav was the highest wicket-taker in the Senior Division MK Bhaya Trophy, proving his skills as a fast-bowling all-rounder.

Madhav looks good but saying raw pace is far too much atm..need to get in higher 130s as he looks to have bowling smarts too

He's the one I rate very high. Bats like a proper batter and can hit. Also a decent medium pacer. For me Tiwari, Shedge and Nitish Reddy are the three pace all-rounder options we have and if I have to pick someone for T20, I would go with Tiwari followed by Shedge. We need all 3 of them to be sent to A tours and fast track 1-2 of them to complement Pandya and to eventually replace him.
