I have had 2 Motorolas and I dont like them. The guy at the store tried to tell me that *this* Motorola W755 is unlike others and it is better, though samsung is also good etc. I refused to believe him. I was wary of Motorola and decided to check here. There is also an LG 8350 option comparable to the Samsung U550 and the Motorola W755. I've heard LG makes good cell phones, so might keep that in consideration as well. These are all "mid-level" phones - nothing high end, so I dont expect too many fancy things.

cybervickey, I own an iphone now but had a Motorola A1200 phone before this ( something not available in US ). There are many who still desire that linux phone and there's nothing crappy about it My line of work is in handhelds ( esp. palm, wm and BB )- I can tell ya above phone can incorporate many features from these devices
