Ram Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/7533083.stm Yep, I am talking about Aditya Mittal, son of Lakshmi Mittal and CFO of Arecelor Mittal, the world's largest steel-maker. Here he talks about how Arcelor Mittal has had to levy new surcharge on the price of steel that it sells to Automakers. There is nothing remarkable in what he is saying here, just wanted to start a thread about this guy. He is an economics graduate from Wharton, still VERY young, now heading an entire steel empire. I suppose, he is the first in the series of many second generation Indians, making a mark on the world of Business.
fineleg Posted July 31, 2008 Posted July 31, 2008 he's got great empire as a platform to launch from and ofcourse they all study at ivy league.
sandtest Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 Would appreciate that day, when family empire decides major investment in India and preferably collaboration, instead of worldwide takeover rivalry with smaller entities like Tata Steel.
