bunny Posted August 14, 2011 Posted August 14, 2011 By the way I did some analysis of the Indian trio over the past 5 years. Dravid averages 35 when the first wicket falls for less than 30. Sachin averages 39 when the first 2 wicket fall for less than 60. Laxman averages 45 when the first 3 wicket fall for less than 90. (Laxman looks much consistent than the others, regardless of the average, but he seems to have a habit of getting out in 40s or 50s). Dravid and Sachin used to be much much better before 2007. So, it is a demise. Add to that, we are missing Ganguly's resilience at #6.
