DomainK Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 Beware of this guy operating by the name of iskorpitx on hacking rampage. He takes advantage of one of the IIS vulnerabilities. Last night he hacked into many sites, replaced the index page and left some communist looking flag on each page. Quite a few forums have also suffered, though VB seems safe from it. A few of my clients suffered yesterday. To make matters worse, he now seems to be uploading trojans into websites now instead of replacing the index pages. So when customers come to the website, either their AV gives a warning or they get infected. Google is also quite promptly classifying the attacked websites as malicious. If you open a website and get a warning, be careful and run an immediate virus scan.
