flamy Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 How AWESOME was Dhoni's keeping when he effected that run-out of Hussey? Just watched the highlights. That was the only way Hussey was gonna be out. :hatsoff:
bharat297 Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 It was brilliant. The only thing that maybe should be asked was ... why didnt Vijay get a direct hit from there? Im pretty sure though 99 times out of 100 he would. That first run out of Hayden was great too. Dhoni's general game lifts when he is captain.
flamy Posted November 9, 2008 Author Posted November 9, 2008 I think he did try for the direct hit, but was a little off-balance. Which is what makes it more impressive on Dhoni's part, because that made it a more difficult take.
bharat297 Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Yeah ... it was brilliant. Such excellent teamwork.
flamy Posted November 9, 2008 Author Posted November 9, 2008 Yeah ... it was brilliant. Such excellent teamwork. Of course, it was brilliant fielding by Vijay. He has already impressed with his reflexes.
Willow_on_fire Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Meh. I could have done that in my sleep. :hysterical:...nice joke...btw....MSD has awesome reflexes...:hatsoff:
Kohum Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Meh. I could have done that in my sleep. :haha::haha: With a walker in your hand :haha:
King Tendulkar Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 He has batted very well this series. But his glove work has been mediocre at times this series. Strange finally gets it together with the bat but then his keeping form dips
flamy Posted November 10, 2008 Author Posted November 10, 2008 He has dropped one that was a dolly by his standards. n the end it evens out.
King Tendulkar Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 it is more the byes as well. he has not been at his best whole series
