But, with their bolt-action rifles, they'd fire one round; if it missed, they'd be reloading their weapon, and would have no chance of survival. [b']Our government needs to arm and train our policemen better. But instead they make sure that the best trained personnel and arms are being used for their own security. I really believe that our forces are not so backward that given the right weapons, oppurtunity and trg they can compete better with these evil terrorists but the approvers for these are selfish heartless politicians who are really detached from reality. All these issues came to light even in 1993- better training, cutting off the underworld power, being crisis ready etc etc and 15 years later our average cop is stilll walking with a danda in his hand in a city that has witnessed terror again & again.

My intent was not blatant criticism on our reponse but trust me that while all the internet, media theories, bravado and knowledge that everyone is trying to display; the folks for whom this is real are all just groping in shock and asking questions like these because it is so hard to fathom and digest. Need to be mindful that for any family who lost someone here all other talk about resilience, efforts and applauses sound completely hollow as of now. There is only shock and anger at how was this allowed to happen that we had to suffer the loss.
