Lord
I so wish we were touring SA next. We would beat them and be undisputed king of the world it isnt that easy, they r the best team in the world atm.beat the aussies in their own backyard n now looking good for a clean sweep.that too after aussies winning the toss every time n batting first Link to comment

King Tendulkar
Nope we are the best. We destroyed the aussies and put them on the mat. Their strength was not only their ability but like all great teams in any sport their collective self belief. We destroyed that self belief and put them on the floor, SA have merley put the finishing blow. We also clearly won last series in oz. Just robbed by umpires. SA have no spinner, a make shift opner and wekanesses in middle order. We will beat the SAs, I have no doubt. In fact they came to India and limped to a draw. We are no 1 in world Link to comment

We are no 1 in world :hysterical:@ 'limped'.they limped so badly that they thrashed us by an innings at ahmedabad n we had to prepare a disgraceful pitch to get even as for the self belief,we destroyed that in 2001 too,but the aussies came back n remained champs.however this time SA didnt let that happen. as for the series in OZ we may have won if not for the umpires but even then it wouldnt be as dominating a win as SA's. and btw, even sehwag is a makeshift opener.and they have a better attack overall Link to comment

Lord
^^smashing down the wall is much more difficult than creating cracks in it.cracks can be sorted. Link to comment
Ram
He didnt look a test-class player. His batting isnt what you would worth of a proper batsman. We dont know about his bowling as yet. The Aussie selectors look confused beyond logic... First they pick a half-fit, out of form all-rounder( Symonds) over a fitter, in form one(Watson). Now, the latter too is injured. They play musical chairs with the spinner's spot. And for a tour of India, they pick a a guy ( Cameron White, who's a nonsense spinner), ahead of a specialist spinner for the first three tests. They pick Hilfenhaus for previous tours and this one and yet an unknown all-rounder is thrust ahead of him. What are they thinking? What are they doing? Link to comment

Chorazin Reto
There are other all rounders, Hopes, Henriques, Doropoulos, they just decided to give Mcdonald a run, but i was as surprised as everyone else they picked a 75% fit Symonds who couldnt bowl really. If you've got an all rounder who cant bowl thats called a batsmen, in which case take a specialist batsmen, D.Hussey, B.Hodge, P.Hughes, C.Rogers, theres plenty of options for specialist batsmen. M.Clarke has saved Australia from embarrassment twice this series toughing it out on day 1 and batting with the tail on day 2(which has also been wagging). Link to comment

amits
we would have beaten aus in aus if it hadnt been for bucknor Link to comment
Chorazin Reto
They like Marsh for ODI's and T20, seems not for Tests, much like Nathan Bracken who you never see outside ODI's and T20. Link to comment
