Id say Australia are no.2 mainly because of their superior away record compared to India ... but with Dhoni at the helm and the quality of some of our young players coming through ... we could seriously be no.1 within a couple of years (if we work hard enough)

factual Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 Even if australia draw the series in south africa which they wont because they will win they will still be number 1 and when the aussies win the ashes after that no one will overtake them for years because we have the easiest of stretches starting with home series against pakistan, west indies and bangladesh followed by an away series in new zealand.
