I respect him as a person, and perhaps as an actor too. But the moment you are trying to create peace between India and Pakistan, you are misinterpreting the filmy popularity as one that has powers to cure a justifiable hatred and a feeling of revenge. That is wrong, and actors would do well to stay away from it - especially, Shahrukh given his ignorance in this topic [which is not necessarily a bad thing]. Aamir has been pretty active in this front in terms of saying what he feels is right and sticking by it, despite Gujarat banning Fanaa. If he says something, I might not be convinced but at least I am not going to question his knowledge to say it.
