I get the impression that he tries to provoke them into reacting aggressively. It's not the way to handle a snake. There was this time when he even got tagged by an Egyptian cobra - served him right for needlessly annoying it. He does have balls though, i'll give him that. Steve Irwin was much better

Steve Irwin was much better Steve Irwin was never into snakes in a serious way. He himself admitted it. He couldn't even handle an egyptian cobra whereas I have seen other herpetologist have done so albeit with some difficulty. Jeff Corwin is the best ! Steve Irwin was much more gentle to the snakes, and didn't really provoke them. And, he was much much more informative than Stevens. Stevens is not really trying to show how to handle the snakes. He just wants to get real-close up pictures of them, and has achieved pretty daring feats! I mean, he f****** messes with a real-wild life 14 foot cobra. I don't think many would even think of doing it.

And as regards to Black Mamba , I have seen an Indian Herpatologist handle black mamba by the head. I forget his name though.

And i don't see anything special in handling a cobra after pinning him down with a pole. Show me a vid of him doing it with his bare hands, from the cobra's tail and then i'll be convinced. He handled it so well without pissing it off, and black mambas don't need a reason to get pissed off. lol. here's austin handling a black mamba by its head: Am3ZY6_F91Q most snakes are fairly laid-back, but man, black mambas scare the sh1t out of me.

I will scour for videos and get back to you. Steve Irwin was masterclass when it comes to crocs /alligators etc. No disputing that.

Would a snake lover do that? like i said, he's only doing it to get super close-up pictures. he is not a good handler, and he comes off as someone who doesn't care about the snakes. I think he is lover of thrill, not snakes....
