It is a Ilayaraja-MSV combo, so half the credit should go to MSV as well, another genius.:icflove:
Macj Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 It is a Ilayaraja-MSV combo' date=' so half the credit should go to MSV as well, another genius.:icflove:[/quote'] Are you sure about this? If so this should be a rare circumstance where I and MSV have collaborated, if I remember correctly their styles are totally different, Ilayaraja introducing more of the naatu type paadal whilst MSV went with pure melody to match Kannadasan's lyrics. MSV was just one part the other was Ramamurthy, together they ruled the music scene for a long time. One more thing, love MSV but he was kinda instrumental in getting TMS marginalised after Ulagam Sutrum Valiban. I used to booze at this place in T Nagar owned by a guy who's father was MGR's assistant, he got the place signed over to him in the last few minutes of MGRs life, the guy had some amazing and VERY interesting stories about the film industry.

Yeah I am pretty sure and it is an AVM production. Source I dunno much about the relationship between MSV and TMS, from what I have heard they are good friends.
f.b.m Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 Oh geez! This man's music is something I had to endure throughout my childhood when watching Tamil and Telugu movies. Anti Child abuse activists should have been taking note.
Macj Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 ^ what do you mean f.b.m? Guess he wasnt a fan, the 'music' and by association Ilayaraja caused great discomfort to F.B.M based on that post.
fineleg Posted September 20, 2009 Author Posted September 20, 2009 Apparently this one is by Chandra Bose - Hmmm...for a while I had thought it was one of the lesser known ones by Ilayaraja)...but it is by C.B. Anyway... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xcD933lrMvs]YouTube - medhuva medhuva[/ame]
