sangrock
How many batsmen have 50+ avg now? How many had in 90s? I'm talking about test, and since you're so good with stats, go find out. The point is not comparing to SRT, the point is the very light use of the word legend. Few good years don't make a legend. :hysterical::hysterical::haha::haha: You just made a fool of urself Link to comment

Anakin
Again, as expected. If only cricket was just numbers and even then 6K in grand total is legendary? LMAO Link to comment

Anakin
dude... u gotta respect Cricket legends and Hussey is one of them... to have an average of 50+ in both formats is not a joke... how would u feel if Aussie fans disrespect Sachin or Sehwag for a lean patch... i was reading about Hussey and the guy is the most hardworking Aussie Cricketer outhere... even in the OZ tour' date= he was one of the respectful guy towards India alongside Lee.... KT, if you wanna take ur Bhadaas out, pick Maaki or Clarke... There you go, read again. ^^ And yes, numbers lie a lot without context. Don't be fooled by just plain numbers. Link to comment
sangrock
He is definitely an Australian Legend - this is the fact that is displayed by his First-class performance. And he is one of those players who has amassed more than 18,000 runs in domestic cricket - thats hell lot of runs. He was brought into the side very late. Link to comment
sangrock
There you go, read again. ^^ And yes, numbers lie a lot without context. Don't be fooled by just plain numbers. It may be true that for a player(like Yuvraj, Viru in ODIs) that the numbers do not reflect their destructive nature (even though their SR does tell the truth) but if the numbers are good - the player is always good! Its simple logic. Link to comment
Anakin
He may well be a huge OZ legend and he's a very good player. But that doesn't make him an international legend. Link to comment

Desi Cartman
He may well be a huge OZ legend and he's a very good player. But that doesn't make him an international legend. He is not considered a legend in Aus .. he is known for his hard work and concentration .. thats about it Link to comment
Anakin
Good to know that u realized that ;) Pity you never could understand the difference between a good player and legend. Link to comment
