I have almost no players of the MI team in my SS team today .. the website was down for the last half an hour or more and I could not substitute :(( It was down.. but came up again about 10 mintutes before the game. But when I did my subs and hit save button.. it started saying match is on... cant do subs..

Varun: I tried making 3 substitutions (all Mumbai Indians ), which were taking way too long. I hit the stop button in the browser and tried hitting save again and again. Overall, I must have hit the Save button about 7-8 times. And finally, when the substitutions were made, I made my gourth subsitution. It was after that that I realized my points have gone way too low.

abhinav Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 I have "retired". Would have had to do that in a couple of days anyway, so this seems the best time to quit. It is such a relief to be able to watch matches as I used to :--D Doing excellently in the other SS as well - in the 72nd place out of 82 people. To have 7 English players in a match that they may win by an innings, but still pick only those who failed - that takes some talent ! Is this the quitting season..are the six guys ahead of me quitting??

Thanks to Mumbai, at the half stage it looked like actually it was a blesing in disguise... When Warner and Gambo scored less than 10 points.. i was thanking my stars for not being able to make the subs... But then someone had to play a big innings and it came from AB (and not Dilshan who was there in my team). So, at the end of the match, I would say i conceded 70 points.. not bad though. Imagine what would have happened if Sachin, Duminy, Gambo and Warner all played a big innings here... Mumbai's pathetic batting and decent bowling did the damage control for me today.. I hope the site doesnt go down just before the match in the future...

I made four substitutions to get it down to 6411. I scored 218 points today. So That should take me to 6629. Luckily, I had yesterday's browser opened. Attaching the jpg.
