suraj Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 All intution tells me that SRT will fail again specially with Brett Lee in the game- he will prolly be out in Lee's first over but I still did not have the heart to drop him. Sometimes it is hard to detach emotions no matter what the cold logic dictates!!!
suraj Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 It seems we will have a new leader after the game because the current leader karteek did not include players from this game except one :dontknow:
ViruRulez Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 I had time for only 2 substitutions for KXIP before SS closed down :wall: But none of the people near my rank have KXIP players too :yay:

ViruRulez Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 I think you got lucky- my SS selections; Katich-0 runs' date=' Pathan- 0 runs :--D[/quote'] I am luckier than you I suppose Meanwhile moved to 29 after first innings and then dropped to 31 at the end of the match .. I picked Bravo instead of Duminy and that cost me .. meanwhile I have been continuing with Malinga and Jayasuriya for all the matches but they seem to have lost the touch :((
Shane Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 2nd :yay::yay::yay::yay::yay::yay: But even Bobby would agree i got away cheaply here.

Interesting. Well, my wife had a meeting this time around while I was in commute. I wonder why the hell did I drop Bravo in the first place.
karteekmvs Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 Have credited the points to your team. Thanks buddy. Was busy touring during the weekend.
karteekmvs Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 My wife is getting deeply involved in SS these days. Ever since she knew I was in the top 3, she started getting up at 5 AM CST and started waking me up. And one of my buddies made me even more famous. He started e-mailing everyone that I am number 3 in the world. Now people from India, Dubai, UK, USA are following my SS keenly. Everyone keeps me suggesting to pick so and so guyzz... SS may very well have a lot new fans by T20 WC.

The Outsider Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 Man, I've been terribly busy to make changes and went :omg: after seeing I am still at number 17 - I don't think I've substituted for the last 7-8 games.

karteekmvs Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 I made some very interesting moves today. I had 8 players from Delhi and Deccan even without making any substitutions. The temptation to get Viru in led to Nannes being shown the door and a calculated bakra filling in the bowler's role. I did the same to the Chargers' side. Got rid of RP and included Dwayne Smith. Veeru and Smith better make up for the negative 80. I think more than winning the SS, I am keen on making some risky moves. I almost substituted Suman for Gilchrist but said thats too much of a risk in one day.
