a fairer comparision between dravid & gambhir - last 25 tests - dravid - 33.88 gambhir - 54.07 last 11 tests - dravid - 35.05 gambhir - 75.19 and it should be known that whenever i post something, it is always 100% genuine & i can easily prove that. also comparing 1st 25 tests of dravid & gambhir is unfair to both players. even if u do, then there isnt much difference. but overall comparison can easily prove that gambhir is a far better batsman than dravid

Amits ... you should seriously reconsider youre method of analysis ... just because a batsman has a higher average than another batsman doesnt necessarily make him a better batsman If you believe that, then I have a statistic that you will like ... In FC cricket : * Rohit Sharma averages 49.3 * Shikhar Dhawan averages 42.9 In FC cricket in 2008/09: * Rohit Sharma averaged 74 * Shikhar Dhawan averaged 69 therefore Sharma > Dhawan ... :((

i cant understand y is everyone making fun of gambhir. r ppl out here jealous of gambhir that gambhir has achieved what their favourite players couldnt achieve??? and it is impossible to prove that dravid is better than gambhir without twisting stats dravid struggles against quality spin bowling. he couldnt play muralitharan & mendis at all whereas gambhir, played muralitharan & mendis with ease & hit 4s off them quite comfortably dravid can only bat in 1 approach, which is super-defensive. gambhir, can bat in all approaches equally well, be it super-defensive or batting aggressively. also, dravid has a strike-rate of about 41 in tests, whereas gambhir has a strike-rate of 51. and less said about their averages, the better. i have already proved by averages that gambhir is better than dravid and all those supporting dravid havent given any other genuine point besides the 1st 25 tests comparision & even out there, there hasnt been much to choose from. dravids strike-rate was only 39 out there, despite a 57 avg. gambhir, had a strike-rate of 51 with a 54 avg. i, have given many genuine points as to y gambhir is better than dravid so, accept this fact wheter u like it or not - gambhir is a better batsman than dravid

@fineleg, sangwan is a bowler who can bat a bit. he is nowhere even close to gavaskar, tendulkar & dravid in batting

sangwan hasnt even played a intl match. also, sangwan is a bowler who can bat a bit. his main job is to bowl & take wickets for delhi. tendulkar & dravid r batsmen and their main job is to score runs. there is no way u can compare sangwan & tendulkar/dravid in batting. it is just rediculous
