For all his great performances, Lara doesnt have a very intimidating ODI record. If you check his stats you can see how he has consistently scored at less than 40 in his last 100 ODI. In fact in his last 100 ODI he scores at 37, 50 ODI at 33, 20 ODI at 31 and so on. So it is not exactly that he has set the world afire(in ODI). What is true though he the aura Lara still carries. He may not score much but every time he walks in the opposition know they better be at their best or have their arse carved. On the other hand Sachin Tendulkar does not evoke that response, heck for past 10-20 ODI I have got a feeling of him as a walking wicket :Cry: xxxx
