Ready to rejoin WC.

I am more or less over the Indian debacle and ready to rejoin world cup. What cricket needs is a new champion. With India and Pak out so early i would like WI to atleast reach finals, to keep the crowd going. I would love to see NZ win the cup, followed by Eng and then SA.

Re: Ready to rejoin WC. I'v overcome the loss of India but can't/won't join the world cup completely. As it is, it was extremely painful for me to keep awake till 3.00 AM. Now I sleep at 11, no matter who is playing and watch the highlights the next day!

World cup comes once in 4 years. Why should we stop watching the premier ODI tourney cause our team has departed? There is still (hopefully) some good cricket to come. Yes, our team not being there is sickening, but since that disaster I have watched AUS-SAF, WI-AUS and SL-NZ.

Re: Ready to rejoin WC. Yup there is still some high quality cricket being played. The only gripe is of course not every game is going to be tight.

Re: Ready to rejoin WC. I hope the cricket to follow will be high quality..Apart from the last 5 overs yesterday and the Aus batting against WI I have not yet seen any high quality cricket

Re: Ready to rejoin WC. The Aussie vs WI , NZ vs WI and even to SA v SL mostly but for last few overs, the games have been pretty one sided. You need few close games for people to start following more.
