Speaking on the occasion here, Ms Kher said, ''I want to give something to the people and I feel passionate about the cause. I have drawn inspiration from BJP leaders like Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chaohan, who have done extremely well for the people and so I am here.'' BJP spokesperson Madhav Bhandari said though the Party did not believe much in using Bollywood personalities for the election campaigning, if people from the fraternity were interested, they were welcome. ''Our star campaigners are our leaders only,'' he added. Bollywood actors Vinod Khanna and Hema Malini and television actress Smriti Irani are already campaigning for the party.

I agree but I also say that NONE of the parties can claim to be secular and although I dont support any party , its been annoying that even media addresses all non - Bjp parties are non communal parties .. I mean dont those parties have a name ..

mhr123 Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 Well i am not sure what is happening in other parts of India , but at our place in Jamshedpur more than 95% of Muslims voted for BJP... I called my parents 3 days back they told me that this time also they voted for BJP . Question is why ? Normally we look at the party as a whole , but normally we should look at the indiviuals no matter for which party he belongs. At our place a candidate name Arjun Munda is a BJP candidate and we know what he has done for the city , during his period we really enjoyed our stay as we all received the basic requirements (w/o communal Tensions) . But from the time the other candidate ( he was from congress) took over Jamshedpur has gone from bad to worse. Previously the votes got divided among cngss , BJP , JMM,JD and RJD.But this time around people decided whatever happens all of them would vote for Arjun munda (BJP candidate) so that the work he had done would continue. Even my Mama and Dad who are old personally went 10 km to cast the vote. Irrespective of which party a persons stands if he is worth he should come to power.

The sooner India gets rid off hindu - muslim - loswer sate - upper caste divide the better it will be for Indian democracy. I think political parties have still not understood how a good PM candidate can win elections . I would rather vote for a smart PM then a certain coalition

The individual should take precedence over the party in the vote since there is very little to choose between the parties. If people start voting for the best available candidate cutting across party lines and reject the goons irrespective of which party they belong to, not only will it mean that decent people will be MPs but political parties will be forced to not give tickets to thugs in the long run.

Congress questioning Lord Ramas existance = Clerical Error. In 1984 4000 people were killed police cud not hurt even single rioter let alone kill them In 2002 riot 1000 people get killed and police ended up killing 300 rioters. In 1984 even after 25 years none have bene convicted In 2002 riots withitin 6 years 30 odd people have been convicted. In 1984 Army was never called despite it being parked next door in Delhi cantt. In 2002 police aid was asked from neighbouring congress ruled states and they denined and then army was called immediately. Conclusion: BJP is communal congress secular

FAct is one can't give any party secular badge based on occurance of riot so only thing left is ideology whihc demands same rule for everybody and there BJP scores the point and Kiron kher is bascially underlining this
