The Outsider Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 He must have been blogging about his professional stuff? I meant when people blog about private stuff and views on non work related stuff. For example if I was blogging about how great Dawkins is and then Gaurav_Indian reads it then basically I will have zero chance of working for his Mughlai kebab shop :--D Yeah it was about his professional stuff. I agree you are not going to get too many jobs by writing about your night club escapades. I feel the best way is to blog under a pseudonym and advertise it through word of mouth to people whom you want to read it if it is contain a lot of personaly information.

Well that is similar to using a website to promote your business so understandable. Overall I think it's best to stay away from giving too much info under your real name online. Specially as you can't undo much once it gets out there. Face book - No Blog - No Twit- No :listen_dawg:
