Re: Superstition in Superstar's names. Well.. I wanted to write about it for long time. I have been following it for many years now. I have confirmed it in last 2 years. Well some of us dont think that it has any substance in it. As I said before, if I write it w/o believing it then many wont like it. So I believe it somewhat. Here is another very good example of our own Ashish Nehra. I found out his father's name Diwan Singh. No K there. We all know where he is today. Narendra Hirwani is another exmaple. On the contrary, Venkatesh prasad even though was a very ordinary bowler, survived many years in the international cricket.

With such LONG names you are bond to get "R...f K, 'C', 'Ch' or Kh" :hic: I say it's interesting but nothing out of the ordinary...definitely nothing supernatural is involved. Good effort on your part though :hic: In 1997 a girl called Lynda was walking in a forest and then she just disappeared. No one ever found her untill 2000 when a young girl called Lucy found her body and markings on her chest saying: "I wasn't pretty enough and my name did not have alphabet R in it" and now you have read this she will appear in your mirror saying "you are not pretty enough" and kill you. Btw the girl called Lucy died shortly after. To be saved paste this to 5 other threads---> THIS TRUE

Re: Superstition in Superstar's names. GKD. I agree.. There is nothing that can be denied here. As you have seen that I myself called it a superstition and take it as one. The examples I have given have some proof for this theory. And numbers are too big to just deny it outright just because there are few exceptions. As you notice, batters with multiple 'R's in them are on the top as against the rest. Especially those whose names are starting or ending with R are more powerful as their Middle, First and Last names also have Rs in them. Again observation. For bowlers I just noticed that they a consistent sound of 'K' in their names.I have included 'C', KH, because of this English language. The obvious choice is more like 'K' sound than anything else. Its an observation not a proven fact. It was more for reading than to discuss as such.

Vangipurappu Venkata Sai Yousuf's father name is Tarrikh or Tariq something. Mo Javed Noor Miandad thats his real name Haynes and Fleming were known to have no 'r' in their names.
