CricketGirl Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Relax' date=' take it easy and look for a new job. You are in government services, aren't you?[/quote'] yeah i am problem is i am restricted to working in close proximities to Juniors school as i'm balancing work and family!! seriously i feel so sh*t!! i am looking for a new job but i feel totally screwd by them!!
Guest Gunner Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 she is my line manager who is also a kaali the person she recruited also a kalla she has a reputation for doing this and yes scum of the earth!! claims to be all christian and good hearted and then stabs people in the back! even the rest of the office are shocked at him getting it over me Mr CG wants me to approach the employment tribunal but i dunno If you go the employment tribunal, don't take this angle. It should be an open ended accusation where the other party has to answer why you were not promoted. Then you can go ahead and take them apart without bringing up race etc. Never bring up discrimination, it will not work.
CricketGirl Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 ^aye Goooner Bava may be right Obviously I know nothing of your experience etc CG, but sounds like youve got a good set of skills that can be transferable if necessary. If youre unhappy enough to want to leave it may be a good op to do another course perhaps to boost the CV, even explore other career options... yaad satave eh by the Mumbai Raakers eh? i shall look. I like my rock-y tunes though. i'm a fully qualified homeless persons manager but no amount of qualifications can give u people skills i'm successful ciz i connect with people in the past yr that i have been there not one homeless case has gone to court!! thats cuz i know my stuff!

Why don't you look for transfer to another government service? What happened to you is a lot more common in the corporate sector. Guys like me are on the guard or planning to take down someone all the time.

Don't let these things bother you.
Sooda Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 ^ Hm, thatll be good, rewarding if a bit difficult. Youll certainly be using the people skills more, which I imagine is what youre best at Can a tribunal actually overturn her decision? I.e is it actually worth doing. Its a tricky situtation for sure, you dont want to burn bridges with the manager if youre staying on for a little while even, they could make work life not pleasant. It would be interesting to actually hear her explanation of the whys. Esp if youve got the experience and he dosent.

You propose to a girl and she says no, despite all the blah blah she gives you, do you actually really know why?
CricketGirl Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 So you have the answers' date=' now take it calmly and plan your moves. Sooda Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 ^Well if theyve got genuine reasons... (which dosent seem to be the case here- It Iz becuz He iz Black) ...then you know what to work on to improve your next job/shaadi application Better than not knowing- Id just convince myself something is dreadfully wrong with me when the real reason is probably far less trivial

It is usually just bias and to cover the bias we come up with reasons. The more articulate you are, the better reasons you can give. PS: That is true in any case. :dontknow:

But as you look out for another job and find something better this whole tale will be forgotten. So good luck.
