Sachinism
Situation #27 Answer The bowling team need to decide who is to bowl and from which end. In this case you would warn the captain about time wasting. If he persists you warn him that his actions could be considered refusal to play and they would forfeit the match. Situation #28 Answer The batsman would be out. Its just damn unfortunate Link to comment
Sachinism
Situation #29 A batsman edges the ball to the keeper who immediately appeals and the batsman walks. However the keeper drops the ball before he has it completely under control. He realises the batsman is out of the crease and whips off the bails and appeals. What do you give? Situation #30 A batsman is standing outside his crease to counter some swing. He misses the ball and it passes to the keeper who throws it onto the stumps. Is it out run out or stumped? Situation #31 The captain of the home teams comes up to you and tells you he has 13 players and can't decide who to leave out and if the visiting team will agree to play 13-a-side. Do you allow this? Situation #32 A wicketkeeper throws off his glove in pursuit of a ball which has gone into the outfield. A close in fielder puts on the discarded glove, catches the ball, whips off the bails and appeals. What is your decision? Link to comment

Sachinism
Situation #29 Answer Not out. If the umpire felt the batsman walked under misapprehension then it will be called dead ball. Situation #30 Answer Stumped. The batsman wasn't attempting a run BTW The keeper doesn't have to have the ball in the hand for it to be a stumping, he can throw the ball at the stumps Situation #31 Answer Both got it (BossBhai and roshanrocks) Situation #32 Answer Not out. Only the keeper is allowed to use a glove to field the ball. The batting side will also be awarded 5 penalty runs. Link to comment
Sachinism
Situation #33 A player is bowled the 1st delivery of the over - but his captain rushes onto the field to complain that you've miscounted the deliveries in the previous over and only 5 deliveries were bowled; you realise he is correct. What do you do? Situation #34 A batsman fiercely strikes a ball back down the ground, the ball hits the top of the stumps (at the non-strikers end) and the ball flies into the air. The bowler takes a catch and appeals. Whats your decision? Link to comment
Jersey #10
Situation #33 The batsman is out because once the first delivery of a new over is bowled, the last over is counted official. Had the captain come out to complain right before the first ball, then there would have been no problems. Link to comment
Jersey #10
Situation #34 I say, he is not out. The stumps are like the ground. It's out if the ball bounces off a player's body part before being grabbed by another fielder. The fielders can not get help from properties like the stumps or the ground. Also if the ball bounces off a player from the batting side or their equipment then it would be out. Stumps are neither players or equipment from either sides. Link to comment
