Ram Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 This is so ironical. The BCCI literally created an international storm by being probably the ONLY sporting body in the whole world that wouldn’t be a signatory to the new WADA code, because they felt the ‘whereabouts’ clause would compromise the security the players. Even high profiles athletes from the West, who are likely to be more bigger targets of terror threats, complied with that clause. I dunno, but does anyone from the Home Ministry even know if Sachin traveling abroad? Has he been given at least a security briefing as to what he can or cannot do?
Ram Posted October 27, 2010 Posted October 27, 2010 This is exacly what my thinking was too -- If some no-name rag-tag like Sachinisim can reach him, it is a HUGE frikkin problem. Question:- Did they give you his room # to you ? What do you mean rag-tag blah blah? Sachinism is fan and he did what most fans would do. And I am pretty sure he approached Sachin in a civil, respectable manner.
