for Indian fans Yes but in '03 there were only two teams which were going to win none of the remaining teams had any sort of chance. Lots of games were effected by rain, political reasons and whatever were played they were one sided.

Re: Worst WC Ever! '03 was an awful World Cup as well; although it was certainly helped by IND looking like genuine contenders while selling out every stadium. In this WC, there seems to be no real challenger to AUS which makes it so predictable. Not to mention the format, which makes it stretch on needlessly.

I agree. Both 2003 and 2007 have had awful formats and the WC is toooooooooooo long to sustain interest. ICC will have think of a proper format very quickly if they want to make this tournament interesting.
