Re: Why the fuk is pathan dropped Only reason pathan was selected for WC was because there were no other options. Instead of selecting a newcomer they went with out of form but experienced pathan instead of say joginder sharma. Now that we are looking to rebuild why select pathan again.

Re: Why the fuk is pathan dropped We don't have a credible allrounder in ODIs. Pathan was definitely an option till his bowling started to waver too much. Would be good if he can atleast learn to bowl simple line and length with some movement at a pace of 130kph.

Re: Why the fuk is pathan dropped I'm glad he is out of the team. He is a fantastic bat all right but needs to get his bowling right. I'm sure this break will only help him. He still has age by his side and if he is good enough he will make a come back.
