News trickling out of the Indian camp suggests that all is not well with the young pacer. Mumbai Mirror has learnt that Ishant is getting increasingly uncomfortable after being told “not to complicate†matters too much by constantly seeking guidance from his mentor Manoj Prabhakar.
Every evening, despite the time difference, Ishant would speak to Prabhakar from Australia during the 2007-08 series. At times, he would be on the ’phone taking tips for close to an hour. In Australia, he tried to blindly execute plans Prabhakar had devised for him and as things turned out he did well.â€
While Prasad was very much the bowling coach in Australia in the 2007-08 series, he didn’t influence Ishant too much. He let him be under long-distance tutelage of Prabhakar.

I think Prabhakar should be made full time bowling coach of the Indian team instead of Venky. Always knew him to be an ultra street smart bowler with limited abilities. PRobably the first Indian to practice reverse swing - he dint have much pace, but bowled lovely indippers.

Prabhakar was banned from international cricket for his involvement in the match-fixing scandal. He also accused Kapil dev of match fixing. He has also been arrested for MANY financial frauds. 02manoj.jpg
If he has been proven guilty how come he has held senior coaching positions at state levels. Last I read Rajasthan state association hired him as head coach.
