I agree about the wet (which is also lack of professionalism not a conspiracy) but as far as food is concerned .. Its not bad food .. its just that Aussies dont have the immunity that the Indians have :dontknow: I have been living in Aus for many years now and even I fall sick in India if I dont eat at a proper place but if I eat at decent places then chances of falling sick are quite slim. In any case its not deliberately given to the Aussies .. lol that would be a crime , right?
Off topic...I have been to Delhi three times and I have fallen sick three times. I couldn't really afford fancy restaurants back then. :sniffle:

Its even worse for me .. I grew up in Delhi and I wanna eat at places where I used to eat with my friends.. and I did that last time and I so sick after eating that I felt I was gonna die. I went to India to attend my best friend's wedding .. I couldnt attend 5 out of 7 functions cuz I had the worst gastro ever.. I had 102* fever with that .. I never had gastro with fever .. plus nausea , diarrhea , cramps ... :((

I have always been a food junkie and been to many places in India but never fell sick because of food but for only at Delhi. :dontknow:

O__O I grew up in Delhi too and I would hate it if my immune system becomes that weak..I've always had a strong immune system. Despite being the only one in the family who never washes his hands before eating, I fall sick the most least :D

It's not - influenced from Mughlai yes, but is different specially in the use of dry fruits and certain other spices like mace and nutmeg, which aren't very frequently used in Mughlai food.

Delhi food is okay. But i think the ghosh dishes I ate in Punjab and Haryana is like Amazing! Its right up there with the Keralite fish curry (which has been stored for 1 day after cooking) and Hyderabadi biriyani. *cough cough* so um punter is pissed off is he. As hosts, we shudnt let our guests complain. DDCA sucks!

I have never been to hyderabad .. but I have been to Chennai and the only problem I have with the food there is that there is kadi patta in everything. Any damn thing I ordered in Chennai has got kadi patta even chicken curry and butter chicken. I have eaten biryani at hyderabadi restaurants in delhi and it is delicious and better than biryanis at most other places

:nono: Although, I have to say that I visited India 1 year ago, and ever since coming back, everything has tasted extremely bland. :(( Its been kinda awful. I've visited so many restaurants around town, and asked for extra-extra-spicy, and I've gotten averagely spicy stuff. *sigh*
