So one can imagine how the Indian team landed in finals of those tournaments.

Dhoni's 6 years is equal to Sachin's 10 years and Bradman's career actually seriously I am boycotting microsoft from now and will ask my friends to if they hire people who lack common sense and logic to this extent

UV would never cross Sachin. Only one who has a remote chance is Kohli but he did not start at 17. So, virtually impossible to break even for him unless he does a miracle. Sachin will remain the best Indian batsman for at least a hundred years.

Dravid is just as if not more worthy of a top 5 spot as Sehwag, given his achievements as skipper (if were taking that into account) But even disregarding that he was a high class middle order bat for so long. Not to mention the extended spell he had keeping which gave us much valuable depth for a while

I think nobody in World Cricket will be able to break these records set by Goddy - and not simply because he is the best there ever was, but also because IMO the number of ODIs is only going to decrease in the future. We already have 2-3 T20s being played in every tour. Then there's the IPL and the Champions League T20 which will take around 2 months every year and then the ICC is planning a Test Championship also, so I think it is the ODIs whose number is set to decrease and also, with such busy and demanding schedules I think there will be some player rotation as well - so I don't think we will see the likes of Kohli or Eoin Morgan or Duminy etc play 400+ ODIs in their career and therefore they will never be able to break these records. As for the 2nd position among Indian players, I think its safe to safe that Yuvi and Viru will overtake Ganguly in a few years. Kohli, Gambhir, Dhoni and Raina all have the capacity to make over 10000 runs IMO.

Agree about number of ODI to potentially go down. Sachin should quickly ramp up his ODI average closer to 50 - something like 49.97. So that people in future can enjoy debates like: IPLT20 average vs T20I vs ODI average vs Test average.

Taking example of Kohli and considering, he gets to play 25 ODIs per year on an average. Kohli will need to play for another 16 years (injury free, in good form) to match the number of ODIs that Sachin has now. And Kohli is already 22+.

The number of games doesn't matter. Tendulkar's inn/hundred rate is insanely good even though he has played the most games. No one with a 100+ games is close to him. To carry that for 4-5 times as many games is close to impossible. I'll never say that it is absolutely impossible. I thought that no one could ever get close to the batting of King Viv. I also never imagined that 34 hundreds would be beaten so easily. Let's just say that the guy to break it will have to be a bloody genius.

and guys like Jayasuriya, Akram, Inzi etc who all played a large number of ODIs never had T20, IPL, Test championship etc - so no chance of these youngsters playing these many matches.
