DeXteR
Indian bowling is getting crap day by day... In ongoing match some really crap SL batsmen have scored runs against a crap bowling. Even Bhajii was bowling crap..and he's getting more crap day by day. Mishra was more crap. And pace bowlers as most of the times- crap.:--D Link to comment

DomainK
It's a patta pitch. Our batsmen could not capitalize does not mean that others will not. Link to comment
diegovegaz
we need someone like sreesanth (even if SL are 500+ for 5) he'll never lose hope, and keep bowling positive Link to comment

Fontaine
What's the point in blaming the bowlers? The pitch is slow with little turn, no pace, no movement. We've got genuine swing bowlers in the team but how are they supposed to get better when they are asked to bowl on these pitches? As for Bhajji/Mishra, these are average spinners who only become a threat when the pitch turns and bounces. It isn't right now and they're not good enough to beat batsmen with their loop/flight and ability to put serious revs on the ball. Link to comment

Why waste guys like Khan/Ishant on these useless pitches where they only risk further injury. Let someone like Sreesanth bowl here. Let him bend his back for a few days and see if he's got the stamina and heart to bowl on conditions like this. Link to comment
iHammad
They need Mohammad Aamer :P Link to comment
Fontaine
I can't fault the fast bowlers too much. But the two spinners completely sucked. There was turn there, although it wasn't sharp turn but any one who calls himself a front line spinner should have done a much better job than bowling 40 odd overs and just producing one wicket or none in Mishra's case. Wait till Sri Lanka bowl, their spinners will show how it's done. Link to comment
Septimius Severus
They need Mohammad Aamer :P They need Paddles, the demon Spofforth and Sid Barnes. Indian 'bowlers' suck big time 316/2 today? They are weak Link to comment

Fontaine
if pitches continue like this. this series= :fail: Yeah, what a great way to welcome back our leading test bowler who's just returned from a shoulder injury and long layoff, by bowling 34 odd overs on a flat deck. I can how this kind of pitch is really going to help the maturing of Ishant Sharma where the ball is only useful for a handful of overs and rest is nothing. Sharma must have learned so much in bowling in these crap conditions. There's a very good reason why India continue to fail in producing good test match caliber fast bowlers and it has everything to do with these kind of stupid flat decks. Link to comment
DeXteR
i know the reason for such a pitch: - This is a conspiracy by Bhajii to get his test 100. :winky: Link to comment

Bhajji would go down in the record books as the only tail ender centurion to slap a fellow team mate. Link to comment

Imagine Bhajan-Sreesanth doing a Aamer-Ajmal batting partnership in the next match towards the end of which Sreesanth would play a rash stroke to get out leaving bhajan stranded on 99..only to see Harbhajan walk down the pitch and gift him another slap ..this time on the other cheek! He would have already injured himself badly as a result of dancing franticly after reaching 50. Link to comment
