EnterTheVoid Posted November 22, 2009 Author Posted November 22, 2009 Its a small world. Everybody knows everybody else via someone else. Drinking champage with Barry, president of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (*) at government house, I can definitely say, without exaggeration, is one of the proudest accomplishments of my life so far. For a degree that takes you places, study Engineering (*) Link: http://www.wfeo.org/index.php?page=exec#president

Its fascinating watching how the super rich live, they got dozens of people to do even the most basic tasks anyone should be able to do. I got to talk to him but only for a very little while. Not all the super rich are like that. Quite a few of them still remain down to earth and humble even after reaching great heights in their profession.

akshayxyz Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Akshay Kumar - Ran into him at some local pub in London. Initially I was blocked by his bodyguard ( 6 ft female dressed like Trinity of Matrix), but later we watched the 2006 WC football final standing in the same corner of the pub, he was right behind my shoulder, and I was total drunk - so did not bother striking a conversation. Bhupathi's dad - I discussed with him my ideas/dreams/plans I was cooking about sports management at that time. On the same context, next up was Prakash Padukone, he gave appointment, but later I lazed out. TN.Sheshan. Visited our office, during early years of my career. Arvind Savur (Dronacharya Awardee, Pankaj Advani's coach) - once I had this keeda to take up Snooker seriously, so went to seek his guidance/advice. Spent few evenings at his house, and had dinner too. His wife is awesome cook.

Sachin=GOD Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 There were five of us at the dinner table and they prepare enough food to feed 15. Most of the food was thrown away. WTF man' date=' WTF :whack:[/quote'] well, some of these people do go over the top. I heard that when the Chairman of HCL vists any of the offices other than the national headquarters, the air conditioners are set at a particular temperature for the entire day and when these guys go anywhere by road than a huge fleet of cars go with them even if its just a handful of people. Among these super rich, the worst are the celebrities - film/sports stars etc.
