vvvslaxman
Sreesanth tops the list of bowling strike rates for India http://stats.cricinfo.com/ci/engine/stats/index.html?class=1;filter=advanced;orderby=bowling_strike_rate;qualmin1=30;qualval1=wickets;team=6;template=results;type=bowling (min 30 wickets) 54.8. He has already won 2 man of the matches one abroad. one in India. This is what we want. A genuine strike bowling option. Most of the bowlers average above 30 though in that list. These are two areas where our bowlers should strive to improve. With the kind of batting line up we have we should be winning more matches. Link to comment
Jersey #10
One thing I appreciate about Sree is that He has been very consistent with his pace. He has always bowled between 135 - 145. His reverse swings are also very good. Hopefully he will go on to make a very productive bowler  Link to comment
bunny
Anatha Narayanan of cricinfo had developed an insightful metric. It was = Overall average of batsmen dismissed - Bowling average. (which essentially measures the quality of the batsmen that you have dismissed vs the runs that you end up giving). The top 10 is quite good and reliable. I suppose Sreesanth would come quite high on such a metric. In fact he might just edge out Malcolm Marshall and come out on top :) Link to comment
