spectre
They did their part very nicely apart from the Dravid's return to ODI fiasco. They have been instrumental in keeping the team together and this No.1 status. They have been called for being biased from some ignorant posters here, to be fair they have done a very good job Appreciating Sreekanth and Co Link to comment
Guest Hiten.
Tbh, they haven't been under pressure due to our consistent run in test matches. Rookies have disappointed them but then that's a given, so replacing them was not a big ask. I definitely want them to bloody more youngsters in our bowling department because our back up bowlers are nothing to be excited about. Link to comment
ViruRulez
Sreesanth was the surprise selection .. rest all were expected.. but yes selectors have to be given credit for surprise choices such as Sree, Vijay etc. Link to comment
DomainK
Selectors have done a very good job and deserve credit for that. They come in news only when they make a mistake or one of their selection does not work. When they do a very good job, no one talks about them. Link to comment
Rajan
certainly they deserve appreciation.just imagine what would have happened if Sreesanth had failed in kanpur... we would have castigated Srikkanth for dropping Ishant and would have even attributed motives. Similarly if vijay had failed under the circumstances, there are people waiting to accuse Srikkanth with preference for players from Tamil nadu.but the selection committee has been fairly consistent, despite so many teams in domestic circuit and so many good performers backed by influential secretaries.........Well done gentlemen! Now is upto Dhoni to give them a chance to play in the XI and for the players to grab the opportunity and perform.. just like how Vijay has done in the 2 tests he got to prove his mettle... they have even done well by picking Nehra who has been doing well in the domestics and he hasnt disappointed with the ball.. He is not a long term solution, I agree, but when he is in good form, why not use it.. Link to comment
The Outsider
Even a spastic can pick the Indian test XI. Link to comment

King Tendulkar
Even a spastic can pick the Indian test XI. Well there were many spastics who did not want Sree in the team:giggle: Also quite a few spastics were against Gambhir being in the team as well! Link to comment
