Lal was terrible again today. He was pissed off in the replay that Ishant was trying to stop the ball while touching the boundary line, and then thought it was fortunate that he did not touch the ball otherwise it would have been a boundary. But it was a boundary.

I think its the case with most if not all of the Indian commentators...they are too sensitive for the Indian team and either they end up criticising a lot for a silly thing or they start giving hilarious excuses for true mistakes

Once again you forget that cricket is a team game, the team winning is of utmost concern, invidual success comes a distant second. I also have no doubt that in that scenario Tendulkar would have had a major input at the start of the over as to how they approach the remaining runs. If Tendulkar got his 100 it would have been a bonus, nothing more. I find it disgusting how many Indians are slating Karthik for what he did, you should be praising him. The match was over quicker and every got to get on with the rest of their days slightly earlier. The praise Tendulkar would have gone and the 10 balls he would have taken to get from 99 to 100 would have eaten up 10 more mins.
