Yuvi's waistline wont have any say on his batting abilities though this might affect his fielding ability. Yuvi hasn't played badly in last test series to drop him. We should continue giving him chance and I'm sure a champion player like him will come out with flying colors in tests also.

I'm not saying we should drop Yuvraj permanently. But currently he just isn't getting enough time at the crease. Droping him from the Bangladesh series will give a rest to go on diet and regain form by playing domestic cricket.:hatsoff:

Everyone having a go at his waist line but its not that bad. Its still ok. Yes not as fit as used to be but serious knee injuries and no doubt on going problems mean he no doubt can't do the fitness work as he would want to and has to be selctive in fitness work

So what is he doing in the team? If someone is not fit then they should not be in the Indian NATIONAL team. Not doing fitness work is not what makes you fat. It's stuffing your face that makes you fat. You think the starving thin people of Africa do fitness? :giggle: You eat what your body needs. Anything more and you will put on weight. If you don't do fitness then you need to adjust/reduce your food intake accordingly. If pregnant Yuvraj can't go gym because as you put "injuries" then why the fak is he in the playing 11? I like Yuvraj very much but professionalism comes in front of my personal likes or dislikes.

He has been outstanding for a number of years. He has a dip in form for a couple of months and he gets hammered for being so called unproffesional. To me he looks same weight he has been for 3 years. But when he was smoking sixes no one mentioned his weight then, now he is out of form due to no connection with his weight everyone labels him unprofessional blah blah. It could be he is simply out of form and is nothing to do with conspiracy theories of weight/lack of profeesaionalism. History of cricket does tell us batsman do go out of form for no quantifiable reason, it just happens! He will be back like he did after miserable oz tour when all kinds of BS reasons from Deepika onwards were forwarded as the reason! There are no facts of lack of so called proffesionalism just conspiracy theories on the intrnet not backed by any evidence at all.

Even when he was hitting sixes I mentioned that he was getting FAT :winky: I did not say he should be dropped but he needs to watch his DIET! On the other hand if he is handicapped by his injuries then yes he should be dropped. Form or no form an injured player is a Yuseless player :giggle:

He has been an outstanding player in ODI and an reasonable player in Tests. But he is not in form an in the current line-up he is simply not going to get time at the wicket. Except in crisis situations and this is probably not he best time to try to regain form. We should allow him some time to re-charge and allow the likes of Manish Pandey or Virat Kohli a gentle introduction to Test Cricket.

A professional national athlete/sports person who gets bucket loads of money should be fit. If not then they are not professional. End of story.

Yes his test match spot is under scrunity and his been for a few years, not established himself yet. But in odis he is undroppable and must be totally backed to find his form. When you have performed like he has over the years in limited overs cricket, you get a lot longer rope. Also lets not foget his very good bowling in odis as well.

That is all ok but you gonna tell him to get fit or what? :hysterical: Seriously man I am close to 40 and super fit, even have a six pack. I get no money to play sports or to go gym. If I can watch what I eat then why can't so many players of our National team? FFS!!!!! :winky:

Of course I am saying bring back for the ODI series again SA, but there is no logical reason to play him the Tests against Bangladesh

Our batsmen are really smart. They play crap cricket for a few matches and the moment they realize they are on the verge of being dropped, they'll hit a 50 and save their spot, only to give some more ridiculous performances and score a 50 again and save their spot. The thing is, the team management can't immediately drop a player if he scores a 50 or something, despite having a poor run. And the oversmartness of some players of the present squad hurts the chances of youngsters to get a game :((

I think its time Yuvraj followed his childhood talent and go back to acting. He can grow a beerbelly and a bit of beard hes bound to pull every chick in bollywood. :hysterical:hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:

I think after today's innings there is no doubt. Yuvraj needs to return to domestic cricket to re-learn the temperment for the Test Area. Virat Kohli will be a more than adequate replacement.

Yaar, stop bumping the thread after every bad performance like KT bro :P

Yaar' date=' stop bumping the thread after every bad performance like KT bro :P[/quote'] So you are saying today's performance disproves my point? I don't doubt Yuvraj's ability. I think he is the most naturally gifted left-hander in India. But with greater focus Gambhir left him behind a long time ago and Raina is doing so now. He needs a diet and some time in the middle.
