patriot
Aussies brought up on sledging, Pakistanis on ball tampering, so what - Ramiz Raja. http://www.cricinfo.com/magazine/content/story/447127.html Afridi comes from an era, a cricketing culture, where ball-tampering is considered a normal cricket activity, the done thing on flat Pakistani pitches - an art form and not a sin. It's been a part of the Pakistan team's standard operating procedure. All teams have one. The Aussies have been brought up on sledging, and while the rest may see it as uncouth, offensive behaviour that is against the principles of this game, it is appreciated by them as a legitimate weapon to be used against oppositions. England moan when they make a tour of the subcontinent, and maybe this is part of their operating procedure. These padosees will justify everything even murder. Is pitch tampering, charas, rogue umpiring also a part of standard operating procedure in Pak, Ramiz ? Link to comment

Is pitch tampering, charas, rogue umpiring also a part of standard operating procedure in Pak, Ramiz ? ball-tamperingMurder? It happens in every country. It's a part of their culture just like ball tampering is. It's an art form. Calling ball-tampering murder unlawful and an offence is regrettable. Link to comment
akshayxyz
that just made my day .. All the worms are finally comming out of the woodwork .... keep in mind that Rameez was a captain and later the head of PCB. thanks for sharing :winky: exactly my thoughts. I want more and more pakis coming forward and support their mates, with all their 'intelligent" reasonings. Better than most of the reality (& Comedy) shows on TV. Link to comment

akshayxyz
For those who don't understand 'unlawfulness' of tampering or meaning of cheating. Even if certain methods of 'keeping' the ball are made 'cric-legal', padosis will still be able to stretch the rules and imagination of everyone else. It is about attitude of trying (at least) to win while staying within in the established rules Or choosing the 'short-cuts' - since you just don't have it in you to win within the rules. Rajan
correction- all PAKISTANI teams tamper with ball. now, i agree 100% with what they say and exactly what Afridi told the Geo TV interviewer as a matter of fact. The recent Rameez article confirms their expertise and experience. Link to comment
achilles
:listen_dawg: Art form? Not a sin??? Miyan ki taang upar, Rameez? :withstupid: Is it this difficult for you, Imran & the other guys to accept that what your fellow Pakistani's are doing is ILLEGAL? :finger: Rather than behaving like men, accepting the mistake and getting on with it, you guys are going around blaming every team in the world for being tamperers! Wow. What else can be expected from hypocritical bigots like Imran. Link to comment
