I do agree that he will not win a whole lot of Marathi Manoos vote, and frankly thats a shame. Suma you have as much knowledge of Mumbai folks as anyone here, does it not bother you that Mumbai has increasingly become so split along these linguistic lines? I mean we are not talking of Darbhanga here, we are talking of Bombay which by definition was supposedly above it all. However these days Mumbai is no different from Mughalsarai. Anytime an election happens the result is followed with a Abu Azmi lost from Bhivandi as the Marathi Manoos vote was not split and MNS won. Not because he is a history sheeter with a couple of murder cases. What the eff??? If the political climate has increasingly become so polarized how can one man train yatra do anything? Maharashtra is different.His big mistake was bringing in the 26/11 issue during his tour to bihar. Nobody should be politicizing Indian Armed Forces, end of story. 26/11 issue has been unfortunately raked by politicians to score brownie points. Congress, and coalition partners, invoke it to show how non-Marathis were as good as Marathis in defending Mumbai. SS/MNS uses it to show how rest of the country thinks they saved Mumbai. Freaking insane if you ask me. xxx

Time will come when riots starts to happen between marathis and other people because of his entertainment speech. This guy should be put behind the bars for trying to create this hatred between people.

But it depends on how this govt performs in the coming months .otherwise it might spiral horribly out of control .The govt basically has to come out looking strong and in control of things .We have had really *****y governance for the past 10 years. Mumbai and maharashtra have stagnated during the past 10 yrs and now its catching up .The increase in migration from north and downfall of maharashtra (to me atleast) coincided with each other.And anger against all that *****y governance is being spilt out in form of us v/s them or along linguistic lines .

True . but there is also sizeable support for the guy in pune,mumbai,nashik and sadly some people look up to him as maharashtra's version of Modi (divisive but growth oriented) and as future leader.

If rahul gandhi has as much guts as this guy I would salute him .
