Err, Karthik just slammed two hundreds in the Duleep trophy final...a 180 odd and a 150. His strike rates were 80 and 90. Agree about Ishant/tyagi/mithun.

question is not why hes selected,but why he ws dropped in first place.if his keeping was a problem,it haven't improved suddenly.n his batting was never bad imo
