King Posted December 4, 2006 Share Posted December 4, 2006 Two sides scoring over 500 runs for 6 and 7 wickets loss. Sporting wickets anyone? Really this one is a road. Absolutely nothing for the spinners or the pacemen. Firstly the Poms cannot get 20 Aussie wickets even on a pitch suited for bowlers let alone on a road like this. Over it they play someone like Giles for what 10-20 runs extra he can give. :wall: It is not easy to sit and watch 4 days of cricket when an average wicket per session is 1. Compared to the last Ashes this one has been far less inspiring to watch. I hope the pitch does a little tomorrow. A draw this soon in the Ashes test will be a bloody dampener. Link to comment
