But did we ever have a Cabinet minister Mamata Bannerjee who is almost openly supporting them with the single minded aim of getting power in West Bengal. And please look up how the Telangana mess has been created by the Congress. A person sits on hunger strike for a week and the Centre caves in and announces the creation of new state. I am not asking you to answer but the Congress, being in power in AP and the centre is definitely responsible for what is going on. I do not have disagreement with you on the two subjects mentioned (broadly speaking). I definitely do have disagreement with you when you put the onus on a single party for this. Telengana issue first. I was one of the first few people who was shell shocked as to how a few politicians with their own selfish interest can make a new map of India(internally), and that includes the Congress MP and the inactivity of Cabinet. But soon enough I saw/heard/read how Indians for their own interests were pursueing this. This is nothing new, I have witnessed it first hand with Bihar-Jharkhand saga and the real reasons behind partition. Point being if you really want to get to Telengana issue stop pointing fingers at Congress and start pointing fingers towards the right folks. Secondly, Mamta Banerjee. This is indeed one of the bane of modern Indian polity where small parties, who are often devoid of complete integrity, have essentially become the king maker. Manmohan Singh is/was not the first PM to have faced this first hand, Vajpayee can provide you ample examples. Indeed this is one area where I would not mind BJP getting popular so we can get rid of smaller parties. I don't see why you keep on dragging and bragging rules and regulations of the board in every single post. Worse you keep invoking it with folks who have absolutely nothing to do with the same. I probably have discussed issues with you for most occassions, and for longest time, and I have never asked MODS to step in. I did read that there was a PIL to stop the Kerala govt from giving him that award claiming that his paintings were like more pornographic in nature. Raja Ravi Verma has done some spectacular paintings depicting the Mahabharatha and Ramayana and I find it amazing that someone/anyone would even think about giving this guy the award which bears the name of the great Ravi Verma. This board has a population of may be 95% hindus, out of which 5-10% maybe hindu conservatives, of course the arguments will be against stuff that pertains to hindus because of these demographics.
