ViruRulez
Want to shake a leg with Shah Rukh Khan and cheer the Kolkata Knight Riders from the super hospitality enclosure at Eden Gardens next week? You can do all that, plus join the team at post-match parties, if you are willing to shell out Rs 32,000 per ticket per day. That’s almost five times the cost of the most expensive tickets (Rs 6,500) elsewhere in the stands. Spend that and you can enjoy yourself in the air-conditioned lounge, get parking rights bang in front of the main entrance and savour fine cuisine. There will, however, be no alcohol following municipal restrictions. But King Khan would, of course, be there, from time to time. With the Eden’s capacity nearly halved to 44,000 from 85,000-odd due to renovation, this is an attempt by the Knight Riders’ owners to maximise profit. They have built a temporary structure to the right of the club house and this lounge can seat 400. Tickets, a team official told HT, are already being sold and the response is good. “This is part of the IPL’s plan to introduce super-hospitality enclosures. Revenue from these will be shared by the IPL and the Knight Riders,” said the official. The Knight Riders have had a torrid time on the field in IPLs I and II. Time will tell where things change on that front this time. But the fans should have a good time beyond the boundary. http://www.hindustantimes.com/Pay-Rs-32-000-for-ringside-IPL-view-at-Eden/H1-Article1-515655.aspx 32000 to watch KKR matches :hysterical:
EnterTheVoid
Consider this; 1 Australia Dollar ~ 33 Indian Rupees; 32, 000 RS -> 32, 000 / 33 ~ 1, 000 Dollars. For a 1, 000 dollars, you can get PLATINUM SEATING to every day of the Ashes Boxing Day Test. Compare that to handful of hours at a hit and giggle T20 match.
