kabira Posted December 4, 2006 Share Posted December 4, 2006 We were in similar situation 2001...Australian juggernaut was on rampage...We lost first test rather tamely..with only Sachin fighting it out...2nd Test at Eden Garden, we were down and out..following on.. most indian fans had given up, including me..because you are not suppose to make comebacks against Aussies..They are too strong to allow that... But guess what...in comes VVS Laxman, first with skipper and than with Dravid, changes entire series on his head.... I am sure S. Waugh still suffers from the pain inflicted by VVS and company.. We need similar sort of magic from one of our senior....Could it be on slaught by Sehwag....hundred in a session...will it be dogged batting of Dravid and Sachin.....will it be VVS with lot of flair..will it be Ganguly who did in Brisbane... Only way to turn around this downfall is one magical innnings... Link to comment
