zen
First of all, there are far too many games. To make it interesting, there is a need to cut down on the number of games. In future, when we have 10 teams, it might not be a bad idea to split teams in to two groups if home and away format has to be continued. But if it's round robin then playing home and away against other sides is too many games (even though it only adds a few games to the current set up) The fielding standards of many of the Indian domestic players is bordering on pathetic level. Hopefully, they will start sorting it out at the domestic level For a bowling strategy PoV, for captains may be it's a good idea to have spinners bowling against overseas players and overseas pacers bowling (esp short stuff) to Indian players. For the games that I have seen, overseas players have struggled against spin (comparitively), while guys like Yusuf have look out of sorts against good short bowling. In Mi vs RR game, instead of bowling those desi guys against YP, if MI had got one of the overseas quick bowlers to bowl short pitched stuff, who knows how far YP would have gone! zen
At this moment, the battle for the wooden spoon appears to be b/w Shilpa Shetty and Pretty Zinta. SRK would be feeling safe at the moment
